Zillow API pricing, and what you can get today
Zillow doesn't publish a price for its API, and you have to apply to use it. PropertiesAPI starts with 50 free lookups and no card, then $29–$499 a month. Overage is your plan's own per-lookup rate ($11.60 per 1,000 on Starter, down to $7.68 on Scale).

Included, then per lookup: Each paid plan includes its lookups. After those, you don't hit a wall: each successful lookup is billed at your plan's own per-lookup rate ($11.60 per 1,000 on Starter, down to $7.68 on Scale). Zillow links and addresses cost the same: 1 credit per successful lookup.
No cap, optional limit. When paid plans open, there will be no cap on usage: after your included lookups, each lookup will be billed at your plan's rate, and you'll be able to set an optional monthly limit. The optional limit is in dollars of usage past your plan, from $0 up to $10,000 a month, and it is off unless you set one.
Prices in US dollars. Data comes from public Zillow pages and is provided as-is.
What will it cost me?
Slide to your monthly volume. Lookups past a plan are priced at that plan's own rate, with no cap (if you set an optional monthly limit, it needs to cover them). The estimate assumes every lookup is new, so cached repeats make it cheaper.

Cost per 1,000 Zillow lookups
Other Zillow data APIs, Zillow's official route and RentCast, side by side. Some are cheaper per call; we focus on no setup, link or address in, clean JSON and batch requests.

Sources, checked 19 October 2026: Apify Store (Zillow actors) · Zillapi · Apillow blog, March 2026 (third-party figures) · RentCast API · Bridge Interactive docs. Per-1K figures are our arithmetic from published plans; Apillow's are third-party figures from Apillow's blog (March 2026), which we haven't verified. RentCast sells licensed public-records data, not Zillow data.
The Bridge (Zillow) price isn't published. Zillow asks applicants to allow at least 10 business days for a decision. Third-party blogs cite "~$500/month" with no source; Zillapi says it's free if you qualify. The Zillow API terms let Zillow introduce a monthly fee with 30 days' notice (§8). Pricing questions
How much does the Zillow API cost?+
Zillow doesn't publish a price. Access goes through a Bridge Interactive application. Some third-party blogs cite about $500 a month without giving a source, and Zillapi says access is free if you qualify. The Zillow API terms allow Zillow to charge a monthly fee with 30 days' notice (§8).
Is the Zillow API free?+
The legacy Zillow API was free with a ZWSID key, but it was retired in 2021. Today there is no self-serve free tier. PropertiesAPI's free plan gives you 50 free lookups, once, with no card.
What counts as a lookup?+
One successful property lookup is one credit, whether you send a Zillow link or an address. Batch requests are billed per property.
Are repeat lookups charged?+
No. If you look up the same home again within 24 hours, we answer from our cache and it's free.
What happens if I go over my plan?+
Once paid plans open, you won't hit a wall at the end of your plan, and there will be no cap on usage. Past the included lookups, each successful lookup will be billed at your plan's own per-lookup rate ($11.60 per 1,000 on Starter, down to $7.68 on Scale). If you want a ceiling, you'll be able to set an optional monthly limit, from $0 up to $10,000 a month, and it is off unless you set one; at it, new live lookups stop until you raise it or the next period starts.
Why are some APIs cheaper per call?+
Running Apify actors directly or using a raw scraper API can cost less per result. You pay for that with setup: starting actor runs, reading datasets, finding ZPIDs, mapping fields. We return one clean JSON shape from a link or an address, with batch requests.
Do failed lookups count?+
No. You'll only pay for successful lookups.
