Use the Zillow API from any language or tool
PropertiesAPI is two HTTPS endpoints and one header, so anything that can make a web request can get Zillow property and listing data. Pick your language, spreadsheet, automation tool or AI client below, or start from what you are trying to do.
How every integration works
Each guide makes the same two calls. GET /v1/zillow/property takes exactly one of a Zillow link, a zpid or an address and returns one home as { data, meta }. POST /v1/zillow/batch takes up to 50 items and returns one result per item, each with its own ok flag. The key goes in the x-api-key header on every request.
What changes from tool to tool is the plumbing: how to set a long enough timeout, how to keep the key out of shared files, how the tool shows a null field, and how it retries. Each page covers those for its tool, with code you can paste. Zillow links and addresses cost the same: 1 credit per successful lookup.
AI clients
Connect Claude, Cursor or another MCP client to the remote MCP server.
Languages
Python
requests and pandas: single lookups, error handling, price and tax history, and a spreadsheet batch.
JavaScript
fetch in Node.js: single lookups, errors and batches for a server or a script.
curl
One-line lookups from the shell, jq field picking, headers, retries and a batch from a text file.
PHP
A reusable cURL-extension function for WordPress, Laravel or plain PHP, with errors and batch.
Ruby
Standard-library Net::HTTP client, error classes and a Rails background-job pattern.
Go
net/http with typed structs, pointer fields for nulls, context timeouts and batch.
Java
java.net.http.HttpClient plus Jackson, per-request timeouts, nullable fields and batch.
C#
HttpClient with records and nullable types, exceptions with error codes, and batch.
Rust
reqwest plus serde with Option fields, typed errors and partial-success batches.
Spreadsheets and databases
Automation tools
Zapier
A Webhooks by Zapier GET step that adds listing price, status and Zestimate to any Zap.
Make
The HTTP module for single lookups, plus a batch request split back into bundles with an Iterator.
n8n
The HTTP Request node with a Header Auth credential: one lookup per item, routing by status code, and batches split back into items.
By use case
Each guide follows one real workflow from the list you start with to the decision you make.
Real estate investors
Screen a deal list: gross yield, price cuts and days on market for homes you pick.
Real estate agents
Turn a client's Zillow link into a brief: history, price cuts, days on market and taxes.
Proptech teams
A backend service pattern: timeouts, zpid caching, error mapping and credit tracking.
AI agent builders
A function-calling tool for your own agent: schema, handler, model-readable errors, credit guard.
Rental analysis
Asking rent vs rent Zestimate, apartment buildings and gross yield with its basis.
CRM and lead enrichment
Add listing status, price and Zestimate to leads with an address, and flag unclear ones.
SDKs and packaged connectors
Official Python and Node.js clients install from this site; a Zapier app and an n8n node are built and tested but not published yet. The SDKs and integrations page tracks their status and shows the plain HTTP request to use until each one is out. Every guide above works today without them.
