Acceptable Use

No FCRA uses

PropertiesAPI is not a consumer reporting agency, and its data isn't a consumer report. You may not use the service or any data from it, alone or combined with other data:

• for tenant screening, or deciding whether to rent to someone;
• for credit decisions, including lending, underwriting or collections;
• for employment screening, or hiring, promotion or retention decisions;
• for insurance screening, underwriting or eligibility;
• or for any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or a similar law.

No harm to people

• No harassment, stalking, doxxing or intimidation of owners, residents, agents or anyone else.
• No discrimination that breaks fair housing or other anti-discrimination laws.
• No marketing that breaks do-not-call, anti-spam or similar contact laws.
• Nothing unlawful where you or the people affected are.

No misrepresenting the data

• Don't present the data as official, licensed or endorsed by Zillow. PropertiesAPI is an independent service and is not affiliated with Zillow.
• The data is provided as-is. Don't present it as verified or guaranteed.
• Respect the copyright in listing photos and other content. We return photo links; using the images is your responsibility.

No abuse of the service

• No sharing, selling or publishing API keys, and no reselling raw API access.
• No getting around rate limits, quotas or billing, for example with multiple free accounts.
• No attempts to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or to reach other users' data.

What happens if a use breaks this policy

We may block requests, revoke keys or close the account, as set out in the Terms of Service. To report misuse, email support@propertiesapi.com.
